North Coast Village Information

North Coast Village is a favorite destination for discriminating couples and families. It consists of nine three-story buildings on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds.

It is located between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier. The harbor features several excellent restaurants, great live music and fun and unique shopping. There are also kayak, boat, and paddle boat rentals, and fishing or whale watching excursions. At the end of the Oceanside Pier you'll find Ruby's, a fun family restaurant.

Airports

  • San Diego (SAN) - 30 Minutes
  • Orange County (SNA) - 45 Minutes

    • The North Coast Village is located directly on the beachfront and next door to the Oceanside Harbor in Oceanside, CA. Oceanside is about 90 minutes south of Los Angeles, and 35 minutes North of San Diego, just off the I-5. Take the Mission Avenue Exit West to downtown:

    Driving Directions - Option 1

  • Exit I-5 at MISSION AVENUE exit and go west;
  • Follow Mission Avenue west to PACIFIC STREET (Mission ends at Pacific);
  • Turn NORTH (RIGHT) on Pacific Street;
  • After passing the intersection of Pacific Street and Breakwater Way you will see a small parking lot on the left (west) side of the street. (Do not confuse this with the municipal parking lot on the right (east) side.) You have reached 999 North Pacific Street and North Coast Village.

    • For registration, you may park in this lot (even though the signs are designated permit, etc.) and proceed to the 24-hour Security Office located at the north end of the parking lot. You will not be able to see the Security Office from the parking lot however, a sidewalk leads to it. Please see them and they will instruct you as to check-in.

    Driving Directions - Option 2

  • Exit I-5 at OCEANSIDE HARBOR exit and go west;
  • Follow to the end at a "T" road;
  • Turn left (south) on Harbor Drive South;
  • Follow approximately 1/4 block to the "Y" and "Y" left continuing on Harbor Drive South;
  • Follow around the Harbor to the bridge and go south over the bridge;
  • After crossing the bridge North Coast Village will be immediately on your right (west) at 999 North Pacific Street. You will see a small parking lot on the right (west) side of the street. (Do not confuse this with the municipal parking on the left (east) side of the street.) The parking lot is on the northwest corner of Pacific Street and Breakwater Way.

    • For registration, you may park in this lot (even though the signs are designated permit, etc.) and proceed to the 24-hour Security Office located at the north end of the parking lot. You will not be able to see the Security Office from the parking lot however, a sidewalk leads to it. Please see them and they will instruct you as to check-in.

    Please do not back into any parking spaces in the parking garages. North Coast Village imposes an immediate $50.00 fine. (This is done to prevent exhaust fumes from damaging the garage walls.)

    Train Information

    Oceanside can be reached by Amtrak, or From San Diego Airport via Coaster Train, or from Los Angeles via Metro Link Train. The station is an approximate 15 minute walk or short cab ride from North Coast Village: Toward the Pacific Ocean to North Pacific Street, turn right, 0.5 mi to complex.
